Intellectual Property Watch is seeking a dynamic person to help expand our fundraising and outreach activities.

ipw-logoIP-Watch, www.ip-watch.org, is respected, independent, UN-accredited news media organisation based in Geneva, Switzerland, with a presence worldwide, publishing news and information on international intellectual property and innovation policymaking.

Founded in 2004 and still growing, we are leaders in coverage of a wide range of cross-cutting policy issues such as: public health, knowledge access and copyright protection, international trade and finance, development, human rights, biotech/food security and biodiversity, trade secrets, traditional knowledge, trademarks and domain names, geographical indications, and internet governance.

We are seeking a part-time (equivalent 2 days per week on average) fundraiser and outreach support provider to conduct analysis and help carry out campaigns. The position is expected to be for one year, with possibility of extension.

Candidates should be eager, driven, flexible, and focused, and preferably will have experience in fundraising, possibly at a foundation, and/or outreach and marketing experience with an eye toward publishing and subscriber relations.

Schedule and location are somewhat flexible, preferably based in Geneva or New York, with work authorisation. Salary is competitive for those markets.
